We at Holy Cross Church are called by God to serve those in need, guided by the fundamental commandment to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” We walk hand-in-hand with our ministry partners, all of whom are doing incredible, impactful work in our city of Sanford.
Our congregation gives to our community in numerous ways, including our annual “Be Rich” campaign. We demonstrate God’s love by donating cash, food, and needed supplies to our Sanford non-profit partners . As the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 6:18 of the Bible, “Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”

Hearts, Hands, and Hope is a nonprofit focused on reducing hunger and food insecurity for individuals and families in need. Through its food distribution programs, the organization provides nutritious meals and essential supplies to support and uplift the local community. Hearts, Hands, and Hope operates food pantries, mobile food markets, and community events. Volunteers play a crucial role by helping sort and pack food, assist with distribution events, and fundraise.

Founded by Franklin Graham in 1970, it operates on the belief of serving those in need as an expression of God’s love. Every year, Holy Cross fills shoeboxes with gifts for children in need as part of Operation Christmas Child.
The Pregnancy Center in Sanford, FL, offers a compassionate and supportive environment for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
